Hello lovely readers,

Today I'm reviewing 2 Dior Addict lipsticks. Firstly I'm not a very big fan of Dior Makeup per-say. But their lipsticks are a different story altogether. They are amazingly soft and have a brilliant shine. I have repurchased many shades already. One of the shades I repurchased is in number 963 Red Carpet. Its the most amazing shade of red I've come across. Its neither blue based nor orange based. Its creamy shiny and gorgeous. Its not very opaque but the pigmentation is so amazing that with one swipe you almost get a shiny opaque colour. The lipstick lasted for a good 3-4 hours on my lips without eating. This is one of the best reds out there and will be my staple red till Dior stops doing this colour. Dior Addict lipsticks are priced at $30 which is kind of pricey but the quality and the vibrancy of the colous are unmatched.

The other colour I got is 972 Rose Shocking. As I  ordered these lipsticks online I fell for the reviews telling that its a gorgeous colour with micro shimmer particles visible in tube but not on lips. It has thousands of micro shimmer particles which are very much evident on your lips also. And I'm more of a subtle sheen person than a shimmer person. I don't dig glitter or shimmer that much. No doubt its a beautiful brownish pink colour but the shimmer is just too much for me. And after a while when the colour fades all that is left on your lips is a bunch of shimmer particles. My heart just broke because I shelled out $30 for a colour which i'll never wear. But people who like shimmer will love this colour as its a very beautiful muted pink.

Bvlgari Perfume in Rose Essentielle

Hey everyone,

Hope you are all doing good. I got a new perfume from Bulgari called Rose Essentielle. As the name implies its a tribute to the delicate flower- Rose. Its  a very luxurious and feminine perfume which has a sophistication of its own. I thoroughly enjoyed  using it as I love the smell of rose. It stays on forever on you. This has become my favourite perfume for the night out as it adds a touch of luxury without being over the top. Those who like roses will sure like this perfume. The bottle itself is very sleek and classy. Its priced around $60-$65 for 1oz of product.

Notes- Rose prelude, Blackberry, Mimosa, Jasminum symbac, Patchouli.

Style-Luxurious, Delicate, Feminine.

MAC eye shadows in sable and shadow lady

Hello lovelies,

I got 2 eye shadows from mac namely sable and shadow lady.

Sable is  golden plumy bronze color in velvet finish. Its a very nice every day all over lid or crease color. And because its velvet finish it glides on like a dream. The color pay off is pretty good and it stays put without creasing. So far its one of my favourite eye shadows from mac and I've repurchased it many a times. I generally use it as a crease color or for smokey look, but when in a hurry I just slap it on my whole lid for a sheer wash of color and subtle shine. It looks good either ways.

Shadow lady is a blackened plum color in matte finish. And because its matte finish the color pay off is excellent. I use it along my lash line and it looks perfect with plum or berry lipstick. You can use it for smokey look as well. The staying power is just amazing.....it lasts the whole day without budging.

Left: Shadow Lady; Right: Sable

The eye shadows are priced at $15 and you get 1.5 grams of product.

Korres lip-balm in Plum and Wild rose

Hey there......as fall season is slowly creeping in, I'm stacking up on my lip-balms and intensive moisturizers. So up today for review are two lip-balms from Korres. Korres is a Greek brand and I'm sure every other person on earth has heard about their lip-balms if not everybody. They are tinted lip-balms which are very moisturizing and come in seven colors. I got plum and wild rose.

Though they look dark in the pot, they are sheer. Wild rose is more sheer and  has pink undertones than plum which has mauve undertones. They apply like butter on lips and give a shiny tinted finish. It has shea butter and rice wax which provides hydration and softness for chapped lips. I like to use korres in day time and Nuxe during night. So far this combination has worked for me. Its priced at $12 for .21 ounce of product. Will try some more colors for sure.

NUXE Reve de Miel lip balm

Hi everyone,

Today I'm reviewing a much hyped lipbalm from NUXE. Its a french cosmetology brand which is very famous for using plant and natural extracts in their products. And their products have become hugely successful because of their effectiveness. Reve de Miel is a citrusy smelling lipbalm which conditions the lips like no other. It has a thick consistency and stays on the lips for long. It conditions as well as heals chapped lips. It is a concentrated formula which has honey, plant oils, shea butter and grapefruit essence which nourish, repair and protect your lips. It comes in a nice small glass jar with a white lid.

For now it has become my favourite lipbalm. In U.S its priced at $19 and you get 15gms of the product. And because its a concentrated formula a little goes a long way. Will definitely be repurchasing it again.

Inglot eyeshadow and lipstick swatches

Hi everyone.......today I have two Inglot swatches. First of all Inglot products are not tested on animals and are paraben free. Certainly eases my mind a bit. Now onto the lipstick, 412 is a gorgeous muted dark raspberry color. Its a bang on matte lipstick so might feel drying for some people. But it doesn't drag on your lips and emphasize the fine lines. It is highly pigmented and stays put for long. It looks gorgeous when applied and doesn't transfer much. I had it on for a good 4-5 hours and it had not budged. Its a beautiful color for the fall and winter and will look good on anyone. If you think that the color is too bold then you can just dab on a bit with your fingers like a stain. It has become a staple fall color in my collection. Here are the swatches.

The lipstick comes in a solid shiny black case and clicks shut very tightly.

Will I buy it again? - Yes!

I also got a eye shadow in no. 396. Its a pearl finish so glides on like a dream. Its a muted champagne-gold which is just soft and beautiful. It blends effortlessly and did not crease on me. Here are the swatches

Inglot has like a billion color selection in every category. So there is something for everyone. Visit the counter once and you'll be blown away by the array of colors. Or you can shop online at their website, http://www.inglotusa.com.

Lush fresh face mask in Love lettuce

Hi everybody........I got a new face mask from lush recently, which i had never tried before, called 'love lettuce'. I usually get their BB Seaweed face mask but it wasn't available when I went in. So I got this instead. Its more of an exfoliant and a mask mixed together. It contains ground almond skin for scrubbing and kaolin for tightening the pores. Its nice smelling compared to their cosmetic warrior face mask which I just couldn't apply on my face because of the smell of raw eggs though I loved the mask. Here's how love lettuce looks in the pot.

As you can see its green in color. I apply it on my cleansed face and leave for about 10-15 min and when it dries, I wet my face again and scrub it for a while and then wash my face. I was worried that kaolin might make my skin more dry and tight. But I was surprised when I washed my face it was super smooth and radiant. Its a very good exfoliant, mask and a gentle moisturizer all rolled into one. I absolutely loved using it. Its priced at $6.95 and you get 2.1oz of product. But the shelf  life is only three weeks so you'll have to use it by then (though I sometimes keep them a tad longer and use if there's a lot left).
Will I buy it again? Absolutely YES.

MAC lipstick in Hot Tahiti

Hi everyone....today I want to share my views on a Mac lipstick named Hot tahiti. Its a muted pinkish-brown in glaze finish. Honestly I havent heard much about this shade and dint even get proper swatches when I searched for it online. Nevertheless I went to the store and swatched it and let me tell you....I was completely blown away by the color. Its a beautiful soft colour which will suit a wide range of skin tones because its neither all-out pink or brown. Its a happy in between.

The texture is also soft and buttery as its a glaze finish. It has sheen but not any glitter or sparkles. It gives a nice toned down colour and a soft sheen to your lips when applied. Here is the swatch.

This lipstick is definitely in my top 3 Mac lipsticks. The staying power is not great because its glaze. But the color itself is so beautiful that I am willing to settle on this one. Glaze finishes are very moisturizing and sheer. So if you want opaque color payoff and good staying power then check their amplified or matte finishes. And the smell is also their signature vanilla smell which is not overpowering. When the lipstick fades it leaves a nice pinkish stain which looks like my-lips-but-better. It can be a good everyday and office-wear color in my opinion. Hope the swatch helped.

Wet n Wild Blush in Mellow Wine

Wet n wild has been a rage among you-tubers and bloggers alike for a long long time. But I never gave the brand a second look till now. I was like "honestly,  how good a product can be when its price is next to nothing"? Oh boy was I wrong. I was browsing the beauty isle and came across wet n wild products. I picked up a pencil sharpener (can you believe?) because mine wasn't working and wanted a cheap replacement till I bought a nice one. Then the blushes caught my eye and I went ahead and bought one. I decided to go with the shade Mellow wine which is a beautiful pinky peach colour.

The blush is super pigmented and the texture is amazingly smooth and might I say, even better than some of my MAC blushes. It just glides on your cheeks and this shade in particular gives my cheeks a natural flush. Here's the swatch.

The staying power is also pretty good and the blushes are priced at $3 and you get 4gms of product. Amazing isn't it? I know many people snub it because of its cheap price and packaging. But really girls do yourself a favour and go buy these blushes, might save you a lot of money. I have heard a lot about their eye shadows also. Now I might give them a try as well.

Mac Eye Kohl in TEDDY

Hi everybody....I was in the mall recently and picked up  MAC eye kohl in Teddy which seems to be the rage now. Honestly when I saw it on mac website I thought that it was a deep brown chocolate-y colour. But when I swatched it in-store it was more of a bronze colour than brown.
Here's the swatch.

The quality is superb and the pencil just glides on. It has a buttery texture and the shimmer particles give another dimension to your eyes. They are very finely milled and you cannot even feel them. I personally like deep brown eye pencil to black. I think they look more softer and feminine. But im not a big fan of glitter. So those who like a little glisten and shine, this eye pencil is made for you. The shine particles give your eyes a soft glow. It is priced around $15 and the pencil will last you for a long time cause its quite long

What do you guys think of brown eye pencils?

Lush Haul

I love juicy shampoo

This shampoo is meant for oily hair and it really does remove all the oiliness and grime from your hair. After washing off your hair feels squeaky clean. It smells fruity and citrusy which I like. But if you use it very often it might make your hair dry....So what I do is alternate between this and their solid shampoo(stimulating and reviving minty shampoo bar) and it works for me.

American cream conditioner

When I went to lush I dint have the intention of buying this.I always use their Forever in bloom conditioner. But because its a retro product you have to order it online as the stores dont carry retro products. So I wanted to try a new one and the sales assistant told me this is their best selling one. And now I know why....Oh My Gosh the smell is AMAZING. And it really makes your hair soft and shiny. The smell lingers in your hair even after washing which is a plus for me.

Jasmine and Henna fluff ease

Its a very nice smelling deep conditioner and eases your fluff and flyaway hair. I use it once a week and it makes my hair soft and shiny.
This is what it looks like in the tub...

Glorious mud shower scrub
I wanted to try a scrub other than the body shop ones and this is what I came home with.
Its a nice scrub with rhassoul mud, sesame oil and has a vanilla-e smell to it. But the only down side is the amount of product you get for $7. Makes me cringe......

It started with a kiss lip tint

Its a nice change when you dont want to go all out and wear bright lipstick but still want some colour to your lips.
And it also has coconut oil and a bunch of other non-chemical products which is a plus. And oh its a very nice pink colour and gives your lips the most natural pinky flush.
